In response to the unprecedented impact COVID-19 is having on our hotels, and most importantly, our people – The ALL Heartist Fund was created to provide critical financial support to those members of our Accor family hit hardest by the COVID-19 crisis. To date, grants have helped to buy food and groceries, secure housing, cover utility bills, and assist with medical expenses for nearly 200 families in need. The fund has received contributions from a COVID-19 special purpose reserve, set up by Accor globally and by our regional corporate team. We want to ensure that the spirit of hospitality – the focus of taking care of others – also applies to our valued employees who fulfill that mission every single day.
And so, on Saturday May 16, Fairmont Hotels in the Pacific Northwest will host a virtual silent auction, where you can bid on a collection of travel and lifestyle experiences, so when the time comes, your next Fairmont experience awaits. All proceeds raised from the auction will be donated to the ALL Heartist Fund.
Many of you have asked how you can help. We are more grateful than ever for the incredible community of friends and family which surround our hotels. Your thoughtfulness and care has touched our hearts – your kind words, positive thoughts and continued loyalty mean more to our Heartists than you will ever know. If you’d like to join us, we’d love to have you. The auction will be live for 24 hours beginning at 9:00am on Saturday March 16 and close at 9:00am on Sunday, March 17.
