Aries – When an Aries travels, they jump all in and when they return home they often need another break just to recover. High adrenaline activities that bring them close to danger are just what they are looking for. When travelling to Vancouver, sky diving while surrounded by views of the mountains and valley at Whistler Sky Diving, or renting an exotic car through Fairmont Pacific Rim’s Sea-to-Sky Exotics and driving the Sea-to-Sky highway from Vancouver to Whistler might just satisfy their need for adventure.

Taurus – Taurus and luxury travel go hand in hand. Beautiful surroundings, sophisticated tastes and all of earth’s finest pleasures is what they seek while travelling. Taking a trip to North Vancouver’s Deep Cove to kayak amongst harbour seals, walking the Pacific Spirit Regional Park trail surrounded by trees and vegetation, or shopping Vancouver’s luxury row on Alberni Street – where you will find shops such as Louis Vuitton, Hermes, Dior, Prada, Burberry and Rolex, to name a few, will be just what a Taurus needs. For the ultimate splurge, the Fairmont Gold Owner’s Suite Collection at Fairmont Pacific Rim offers some of the city’s most spectacular harbour and mountain views, a canopy bed, two marble spa bathrooms, a custom vinyl record collection and is designed for the elite, in-the-know traveler.

Cancer – For a Cancer, when they travel nothing makes them happier than when their travelling companions have a smile on their faces and love every moment. Getting lost walking VanDusen Botanical Gardens, exploring the Museum of Vancouver or Vancouver Art Gallery, or taking a foodie tour on Granville Island would make them most happy. For some late night live music, the Cancer would enjoy Vancouver’s premier luxury live music venue at The Lobby Lounge at Fairmont Pacific Rim who plays host to Canada’s emerging artists.

Gemini – Gemini’s crave constant social interaction and discovery. As twins of the zodiac, they require a trip that is dual-sided. Curious by nature, they would love exploring nature by mountain biking trails in Whistler or Squamish, swimming in the ocean at Jericho Beach or even taking the city to new heights with a Harbour Air Seaplane tour. Then later that afternoon you will find the Gemini touring Vancouver’s craft beer or local distilleries on a tour, letting loose.

Leo – Leo’s love to be where the action is – the biggest party, the best spot for an Instagram photograph, the most daring mountain climbed. A perfect vacation is sophisticated, lavish and trendsetting. You will find Leo’s snapping photos amongst the tree tops while zip lining through Whistler via Ziptrek Whistler, or leading the pack up the Grouse Grind. For an over-the-top extravagance, the Leo traveler would lavish in Willow Stream Spa’s Fountain of Youth treatment. This spa experience combines the application of raw ocean elements with pure Canadian glacial clay to infuse vital nutrients and minerals into the skin. This holistic journey reduces pain and inflammation while targeting the signs of aging.

Virgo – It’s all in the details for our dear Virgos. When a Virgo travels, the itinerary is planned far in advance and they have done the research to discover the best spots far in advance. Productive travel where a Virgo can walk away with a new skill or talent appeals to them most. In Vancouver, Talaysay Tours offer authentic cultural eco experiences where a First Nations guide shares their knowledge and rich history. Virgo’s might also find interest in taking a cooking class to learn how to prepare local west coast seafood at The Dirty Apron. Fairmont Pacific Rim’s From Sips to Sushi travel experience offers a sushi making class in the RawBar, the city’s first 100% Ocean Wise sushi destination and a cocktail making class in the Botanist Bar with Vancouver’s top bartenders.

Libra – Libra’s are refined, elegant and love rich history. With a fondness for the charming and cultural, a perfect afternoon in Vancouver would be spent wandering the cobble stoned streets of Gastown, making a stop at the Steam Clock and Gassy Jack, or touring Vancouver’s architectural and public art scene. At Fairmont Pacific Rim, Libra’s would enjoy the Building Artistry art tour podcast which takes listeners on a 35 minute tour through the hotel’s art collection, which is driven by passion from owner/developer Westbank.

Scorpio – For a Scorpio, travel is for romance and often no expense will be spared on splurging on fancy hotel suites, beach front villas and eating and drinking at all the best restaurants. In Vancouver, a perfect day for a Scorpio could start at Café Medina eating gourmet waffles over brunch, and lead to a five-course “We’ll Take it From Here” dinner at Botanist starting with a sensory Cocktail Lab experience, which offers five unique experiential cocktails representing the earth’s elements. Scorpio’s love the night and dark, while visiting Vancouver, a visit to Float House for floatation and sensory deprivation experience is perfect to help the busy Scorpio disconnect.

Sagittarius – The Sagittarius is always on the hunt for the new and the now. The curious and energetic nature of the Sagittarius yearns for adventure which Vancouver offers a lot of. As the most excitable traveler in the zodiac, they would love taking Fairmont Pacific Rim’s new BMW eBike’s (which can get up to 25 km/hr) for a spin on the Stanley Park Seawall, cycling ocean side making stops along the way at third beach and English Bay to take in the sites and perhaps play some beach volleyball. The Capilano Suspension Bridge Park towers 230 ft (70 metres) above the river and is 460 ft (140 metres) long surrounded by rainforest. They also offer a treetop adventure with a series of seven suspension bridges amongst Douglas-firs and cliff walk with suspended walkways jutting out from the granite cliff face above Capilano River.

Capricorn – Capricorns love to work hard and when they vacation they still have a desire to accomplish something. Hiking The Chief in Squamish is the perfect activity to make them feel accomplished. This six hour hike offers 600 meters of elevation gain and at the top, hikers are rewarded with breathtaking views of Howe Sound and mountains in Garibaldi Provincial Park. With a thirst to always keep learning, Capricorns would benefit from an enriching experience in Vancouver’s Chinatown or Richmond Night Market, which will transport them into a cultural culinary adventure. Home to some of the city’s greatest Chinese food, you will find everything from dim sum, bakeries and Asian fusion delights.

Aquarius – The independent, mysterious Aquarius may appear shy and quiet, but they can also be energetic and adventurous. This air sign loves to be outdoors exploring and stand up paddle boarding Kitsilano Beach where they can connect with nature while improving their strength and relaxation would be an afternoon well spent. For breathtaking turquoise lakes and stunning mountain views, hiking the 18 km Garibaldi Lake over five hours would be at the top of the Aquarius’ activities in Vancouver. On the way up to Garibaldi, which is in between Squamish and Whistler, make a stop at Shannon Falls Provincial Park. The falls, which rise 335 metres above the highway, make them the third highest waterfalls in British Columbia.

Pisces – Relaxing escapes are ideal for the spiritual Pisces, and if it can be near water, it’s even better! Luckily, that means you’ve found your match made in heaven in Vancouver. A day spent on the ocean whale watching with Prince of Whales merges the natural world perfectly, especially if you are able to see orcas or migrating humpback whales in their element. As the yoga capital of Canada, the spiritual Pisces can find their balance on the west coast with a yoga class at YYoga, and in the summer, the outdoor yoga at Kitsilano Beach is the perfect Namaste.
