Taste, sip and savour your way through an incredible sushi adventure with the Omakase Long Table sushi experience, launching in the RawBar at Fairmont Pacific Rim on International Sushi Day June 18.
The Omakase (chef’s choice) selection has been surprising and delighting RawBar visitors since its inception, and will now be available for the first time ever as a group dining experience. Served family-style, exclusively at RawBar’s signature Bob Dylan-inspired communal tables, the Omakase Long Table is perfect for a working lunch, casual catch-up or special occasion.

The meal starts off with miso soup, followed by a selection of 100 per cent Ocean Wise signatures such as Maki rolls, sashimi, nigiri and chef favourites, served on a sustainably crafted driftwood long board made by British Columbia’s own Raven Timberworks.
The Omakase Long Table experience pairs perfectly with The Lobby Lounge’s classic Benzaiten cocktail. Mint, cucumber, rosemary and London Dry gin are uniquely combined with Sencha green tea, crafting a refreshing accompaniment to the sushi experience.
Incredible artists take center stage seven days a week in The Lobby Lounge and RawBar so guests can take in energetic and upbeat sounds while indulging in Vancouver’s best sushi and craft cocktails from lunch to late night. As Vancouver’s first 100 per cent Ocean Wise sushi destination, the RawBar team, led by Chef Takayuki Omi are determined to make only responsible and sustainable seafood choices, creatively sourcing the best of Ocean Wise-recommended seafood, found locally and around the Pacific Rim. Chef Taka’s innovative presentation and quality ingredients make it a must-dine for the sushi-savvy!
