Past, Present & Future: The Legacy of The Lobby Lounge and RawBar
The Lobby Lounge is Fairmont Pacific Rim’s original cocktail bar, featuring daily sets of live music, accompanied by a 100% Ocean Wise sushi program. Under the direction of Creative Beverage Director Grant Sceney, the iterations of the cocktail menus have taken nods from international travel and the stories that globetrotting inspires. To celebrate, The Lobby Lounge will see the addition of a feature Past, Present & Future list, highlighting a premier return, a current lounge favourite, and what the team of award-winning bartenders are predicting as ‘the future of the cocktail’. Chef Taka and his culinary team have created two special edition rolls in order to celebrate the past decade. Enjoy the True North Roll, made with Canadian lobster with northern divine caviar aïoli, mango, avocado and cucumber. giovane’s signature sugar bun is adding some gold bling this month in celebration of the hotel’s 10th Anniversary and giving nod to the anniversary of the 2010 winter games. Topped with a chocolate designed gold medal and filled with vanilla pastry, these limited edition sugar buns are available in the café until March 6, 2020 for $7.00 CAD each.
