Originally from Dublin, Ireland and hailing from an intensely musical family, Neal Ryan’s love for his craft comes from a long lineage of storytellers, musicians and artists past on from generation to generation. Neal’s own original works bear large resemblance to the “Troubadour” era of the late 60’s and 70’, with inspiration from artists like James Taylor and Cat Stevens. Ever the student of music, both past and present, you’ll find Neal playing a familiar tune at various local Vancouver locations, like The Lobby Lounge and loving every second of it. We recently sat down with Neal Ryan and learned a little more about the artist behind the guitar.
