Where are you from?

Kamloops, BC

What style of music do you play?

I play a wide range of music but I really try and focus on current top 40/pop/alt rock hits.

What instruments do you play?

Guitar is my primary instrument but every once and a while you can see me playing around on the drums or piano (usually late at night with a few bevies in my belly).

How did you discover your passion and talent for music?

Music is on both sides of my family so I was introduced at an early age. My parents had guitars, drums, piano, and all sorts of instruments in the basement for us all to fool around with. When I was 21 years old I found myself at a party…it was on that faithful night I pulled out the guitar for the first time in front of my friends.  I only knew how to play three chords so instead of playing an actual song I just started making fun of whoever was closest to me. The response was so amazing I never put the guitar down after that. What started out as a joke slowly turned into a life long passion. Today, I am forever grateful for my friends and for that accidental night of music.

How long have you been practicing your craft?

15 years

Favourite song to play?

Outside – Staind

Favourite song to listen to?

The chicken dance

What would people be surprised to know about you?

I am the youngest and best looking of 6 boys (ya ya, my poor mom!).

On your day off we would find you…

Practicing the guitar (hopefully at my secret spot on the beach at Spanish Banks). If not, you might find me on granville island taking in an improve comedy show at Vancouver Theatre Sports.

Its 4am on a saturday night, what would you eat?

Poutine with vegetarian gravy… (I just started to drool)
